Mohsen Barkh
President, Founder, and CEO
Mohsen has more than 25 years of experience in mine water and wastewater treatment around the globe. He was the key design person for a wide variety of treatment systems targeting different contaminants such as heavy metals, cyanide, sulphate, chloride and so on. His past experiences as a senior process engineer in different countries such as France, Russia, Peru, Namibia, Mexico and Canada with different regulations and standards made him a well versed technical leader with deep knowledge of issues related to mine water treatment.
Hoori Barkh
CFO
Hoori is a Chartered Professional Accountant with professional experience ranging from full cycle accounting, financial analysis and planning, to management and research grant accounting. While the vast majority of her experience lies in higher education, namely the University of British Columbia, she has helped numerous small to medium size enterprises and startups establish strong financial practices from the ground up. Hoori is passionate about bringing her analytical and numerical skills to help organizations thrive. Prior to accounting Hoori worked at the Arts Club Theatre Company after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and French from UBC. Currently, she is pursuing her Masters of Business Administration at Yale School of Management and will be working in private capital consulting post graduation.
Alireza Farahani
Business developer
Alireza is a local economic and business development expert through his training and experience. With a background in engineering, he has been involved in local economic development and business development initiatives for the past 15 years in a wide spectrum of industries. From entrepreneurship training start-ups to garment production all the way to saffron product and market development, he has been a consultant and supervisor for designing and implementing business models based on value chain analysis. Alireza has joined our team to assist the team in developing new business models and finding markets and customers for the valuable technical expertise that PMAP has brought together.
Azadeh Hadizadeh
COO
Azadeh is a multi-disciplinary manager with academic and professional experience in different fields which altogether prepared her for working in an interdisciplinary environment of the sustainable mine water business. As an urban planner, she has been involved in different sustainable development projects in Canada, Australia, and Iran. As an MBA graduate with years of experience as a project manager and executive director, she has managed and supervised different projects and a variety of line and staff departments.
Mahdi Mahdipour
CTO
Mahdi has 30-years experience in designing and manufacturing industrial and medical machines and equipment, including CNC machine tools, intelligent control systems, and CAD/CAM solutions in various applications. His long experience in managing companies and leading various projects, along with the valuable achievements of the current team, can guarantee the realization of PMAP’s goals. He, as a serial entrepreneur, managed a wide variety of automation projects in precise applications in the field of humane health and well-being as well as industrial applications. Mahdi’s vast technical experience and passion for problem solving, in conjunction with his firsthand experience with R&D projects and fabricating new and special tools and equipment, makes him an invaluable member of the PMAP team. His solid background in the field of human health and his robust understanding of the PMAP safety culture is the basis for the completed design and delivery of PMAP operation.
Parisa Zaini
Supply chain director
Parisa is a results-driven operations professional with various academic backgrounds. She has 10 years of combined supply chain and purchasing-focused experience in Canada with a deep understanding of end-to-end procurement and strong communication and supplier relation skills.
